TATA D200 Roof Profile is an advanced structural decking solution designed to deliver exceptional performance in demanding projects.
With an impressive span capability of
Efficient Construction: Overlapping sheets simplify installation, saving time and reducing project costs.
Longevity: Durable galvanised coating provides extended service life
Material Efficiency: Shallow profile design minimises material usage whilst maintaining structural performance
The D200’s perforated edges and profile fillers provide excellent acoustic insulation. This reduces noise transmission, ensuring compliance with acoustic standards and improving the comfort of internal spaces
The D200 is available with Colourcoat® finishes, offering a wide range of colours and textures to suit diverse architectural styles. These finishes also provide superior protection against corrosion, UV damage, and weathering, ensuring long-term durability and low maintenance.

Acoustic Properties: Incorporates perforated edges and fillers for superior noise reduction and sound absorption.
Deepest profile in the RoofDek range – 205mm actual depth provides maximum structural capacity.
Longest span capability – up to 10.00 metres in solid version, the maximum in the entire portfolio.
Exceptional moment capacity up to 45.53 kNm/m at 1.50mm gauge.
Superior moment of inertia – up to 1670.84 cm⁴/m, the highest in the range.
S320 steel only – purely structural, heavyweight-grade material for demanding applications.
Wide 375mm pitch – maximises efficiency and reduces intermediate support requirements.
Perforated option with P3L-5 pattern – lowest open area (5% soffit / 10% cover area) in the range for acoustic control while maintaining structural integrity.
Large Distribution Centres
Amazon-scale operations requiring maximum clear span and structural capacity.
Aircraft Hangars
Long-span roofing for heavy-duty aerospace and aviation facilities.
Manufacturing Plants
Industrial facilities with demanding load-bearing and long-span requirements.
Intermodal Terminals
Container handling and logistics facilities with exceptional structural needs.
Power Stations & Utilities
Infrastructure requiring heavy-duty, long-span roof support systems.
Exhibition Centres
Large column-free venues for events and public assembly.
Design & Specification Considerations
S320 steel grade only – no downgrading to lower steel grades.
D200 is purely a structural profile for high-load applications.
Gauges start at 0.88mm – lighter gauges (0.70mm, 0.75mm) would be insufficient for the 205mm depth and long span capability.
1.50mm gauge option is the heaviest available in the RoofDek range at 23.59 kg/m² – suitable for extreme load conditions.
Wide 375mm pitch reduces the number of runs required per roof area, improving efficiency on ultra-long-span projects.
100mm minimum bearing required on all supports.
Perforated version (P3L-5) has lowest open area (5% soffit / 10% cover area) of any perforated profile in the range — minimum acoustic absorption but maximum retained structural capacity.
When soffit is exposed and perforated, VCL (vapour control layer) must be positioned underneath the tray.
Deflection limits: imposed span/200, suction span/150.
Installation Considerations
D200 is a heavyweight profile – ensure adequate lifting and handling equipment on site for 0.88mm–1.50mm gauges.
Wide pitch (375mm) allows faster installation across long-span areas, reducing labour time.
100mm bearing minimum – design support structure accordingly to accommodate the wide troughs and flanges.
Solid version recommended for standard industrial roofing. Perforated version reserved for acoustic control in open-plan venues.
All fastening and secondary systems must be rated for the heavier profile weight and higher load-bearing requirements.
On perforated trays with exposed soffits, install VCL underneath to prevent moisture ingress.
Spans up to 10.00m (solid) and 8.00m (perforated) – use intermediate bracing or stiffening as required by structural design.
