SR30+ - Trapezoidal Roof Deck Profile

A sinusoidal profile engineered for short spans, canopies and light structures. 1000mm cover width maximises coverage rate and minimises joints.

1000mm cover width is the widest in the sinusoidal range, reducing the number of sheets needed and minimising side laps and joins.

The 30mm depth is engineered for short spans (1–2.3m). No over-specification. Lower material weight means less freight and easier on-site handling and is cost efficient.

Watch this short video for a quick explanation!

  • Efficient Spanning Capability

With its 30mm profile depth and gauges of 0.7mm or 0.9mm, SR30+ achieves reliable spans across common purlin spacings, minimising the need for extra secondary steelwork. This reduces installation time and overall project costs.

  • Lightweight and Flexible

At only 6.66–8.57 kg/m² (depending on gauge), SR30+ is lightweight yet robust. Its 1000mm wide sheets optimise coverage, speeding up laying and reducing labour time on site.

  • Long Lengths: Supplied in lengths up to 12m, reducing joints and improving programme efficiency.

  • Aesthetics and Finishes:

A variety of colours and paint finishes can be applied to the underside of the deck to create an attractive finish, while also contributing to fire safety compliance.

  • SR30+ is an ideal solution for roof decking where strength, speed, and coverage are key. The clean underside can remain exposed for an industrial aesthetic or be adapted to suit internal finishes. Polyester white-coated soffits can enhance brightness and reduce the need for additional finishes.

  • Transport Optimisation: Each artic can carry large coverage due to the wide 1000mm sheets, minimising deliveries and on-site storage.

  • Fixing Efficiency: End laps of 150mm and simple main-fix fasteners mean installation is straightforward and reliable.

DESIGNED FOR

SMALL BUILDING PROJECTS

Features

Profile depth: 30mm | Pitch: 200mm | Crown: 121mm

Available gauges: 0.7mm & 0.9mm steel (S350)

Maximum sheet length: 12 metres

Typical span range: 1.0m–2.3m

Galvanised or polyester coated

Benefits

Fire Performance

SR30+ meets Class A1 Reaction to Fire, Class 1 (BS476 Part 7) and Class O in line with current Building Regulations, offering peace of mind on safety and compliance.

Corrosion Protection Options

Available in hot-dip galvanised finish (Z275) or polyester-coated systems, SR30+ provides strong durability in demanding environments.

Applications

Agricultural Buildings

Lightweight, fast-fixing roof for grain stores, livestock shelters and farm outbuildings. The shallow profile is economical and the 1000mm cover width reduces fixing points.

Light Industrial

Ideal for workshops, factories and storage sheds. The 2.3m maximum span handles typical purlin spacings with minimal deflection and excellent cost-to-coverage ratio.

Canopies & Covered Areas

Perfect for external canopies, covered walkways and semi-open structures where weather protection matters more than high strength requirements.

Refurbishment & Over-Cladding

Retrofit existing structures with a lightweight profile that doesn’t add excessive dead load. Easy to cut on site and compatible with most existing purlin spacings.
