A deep sinusoidal profile for industrial, commercial and distribution roof systems — 720mm cover width, 100mm depth, engineered for spans up to 6.2m with proven load performance across three steel gauges (0.7mm, 0.9mm, 1.2mm). The long-span, high-load design reduces secondary steelwork for material and cost savings on large roof areas.

Available galvanised (Z275) or polyester-coated for long-term corrosion resistance, it's ideally suited to large-scale roofing where long spans, fewer purlins and high structural performance are essential — particularly industrial, commercial and distribution centre builds. The underside can be left exposed for an industrial finish or coated for a brighter look, including polyester white for better light reflection inside.

DEEP-DECK ROOFING FOR LARGE-SCALE PROJECTS

High strength-to-weight ratio: excellent structural efficiency — despite being lightweight (9.47–16.29 kg/m² depending on gauge), it resists both gravity and uplift loads outstandingly, ideal for demanding roof designs.

Features

Cover Width and Pitch

720mm cover width; 240mm pitch. Sinusoidal crown and valley geometry with 101mm and 70mm radius.

Steel Grade and Thickness

S350 (BS EN 10143:2016, BS EN 10346:2015) in 0.7, 0.9, 1.2mm gauges. Maximum sheet length 12m.

Coatings

Galvanised Z275 (275g/m²) or Polyester White (150g/m² Z150 base + 25μm polyester topcoat).

Fire Performance

Class 1 (BS 476 Pt7); Class 0 surface rating available. Complies with BS 5427:2019.

Span Capability

3.0m to 6.2m depending on gauge, load case and deflection criteria. Partial safety factor 1.5 applied.

Fixing and Lap Details

Fixed every trough at sheet ends and intermediate supports; 150mm end lap, 450mm side lap and 450mm side support spacing.

Benefits

Deep sinusoidal profile: The 100mm depth provides significantly greater structural stiffness than shallower sinusoidal sheets, allowing wider purlin spacings and longer spans. The 240mm pitch and curved crowns (101mm radius) and valleys (70mm radius) deliver both load capacity and effective water shedding.

Long span capability: SR100+ achieves spans from 3.0m to 6.2m depending on gauge and load case, significantly reducing the need for intermediate supports and lowering support frame costs on large roof areas.

Material choice: Available in three gauges (0.7, 0.9, 1.2mm) from a single production line. Steel grade S350 to BS EN 10143:2016 ensures consistent mechanical properties. Galvanised (Z275) and polyester white (Z150 + 25μm) coatings provide durability in exposed environments.

Fire compliance: Class 1 (BS 476 Pt7) and Class 0 surface rating where specified, supporting building regulations for medium to high risk properties.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Technical

Manufactured to BS EN 10346:2015 and compliant with BS 5427:2019 for roof sheeting, SR100+ achieves Class 1 fire rating (BS 476 Pt7) and can be specified for Class 0 surface assessment where building regulations demand enhanced fire safety.

The deep sinusoidal profile provides significantly greater structural stiffness than shallower profiles, making it the preferred choice for wide purlin spacings and long span applications where reducing support steelwork is a priority.
